Coconut Oil for Keratosis Pilaris and Razor Bumps

Keratosis Pilaris and razor burn cuase bumpy, chicken-like skin, usually on arms or legs. Its is itchy, irritating and especially annoying when you are trying to wear clothes that show the bumps.

Organic, extra virgin coconut oil is a quick, moisturizing fix. Usually to moisten your skin, lotion is used. The problem is lotion only temporarily makes your skin soft. The difference with coconut oil is that it soaks into your skin and erases bumps.

Apply the oil on your skin like you would lotion focusing on bumpy areas. At first, do this every night or after you shower. When first putting it on your skin, it seems oily but you will notice it drys fast. After a few days or weeks (depending on how extreme your skin is) use it about two or three times a week.

I hope you enjoy!
